The NimbleFins car data experts have dug into publicly available new and used car data to identify how much motorists need to pay for a Ford Puma. Across different trim and fuel types, the study found that the average price for a brand new Ford Puma was £28,471 in the summer of 2024.

Cost of a used Ford Puma
As with all vehicles, the cost of a used Ford Puma declines with car age. NimbleFins analysis of over 1,500 Ford Puma vehicles indicates that cars depreciate around £4,000 when back on the market as a used car in their first year, then approximately £2,000 the second year and another £2,000 the third year. Usually, cars do depreciate the most in their first year, then less in subsequent years.

Ford Puma Insurance Costs
NimbleFins market tests of hundreds of cheap car insurance policies found that a low-risk driver could pay under £500 a year for comprehensive car insurance for a new Ford Puma. Since insurance costs can vary a lot not only from one driver to the next but by specific vehicle, we checked sample prices for different variants. Those with a similar list price cost around the same to insure. But more expensive vehicles warranted higher insurance prices—not surprising, considering an insurer might need to cough up the cost of the car if it's stolen or written off in an accident.
Our tests showed that for Ford Puma, a car that is more expensive and with a larger engine and higher trim level can easily cost 15%+ more to insure than an entry level vehicle.
